A festive and luminous makeup look

Let’s shine on New Year’s Eve! This is a celebrative make-up look I’ve created by matching a sleek black and white shirt by Mango, a kind of “love at first sight” purchase.

Light is the key to a festive makeup look, all the other details are softer than ever! First of all, start with the right skin care, to get a healthy glowing canvas…

My quick skin care program consisted of Avon Care 3 in 1 gentle aloe cleansing, soothing and hydrating milk, Avon Nutra Effects Radiance renewing night cream face cream and Avon Anew Vitale eye gel cream. Then I prepped my face in this sequence with: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and Maybelline Instant Fatigue Blur in Warm Apricot, Pupa professional primer corrective action redness-couperose.
As face make-up I used: Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid in 30 Sand (whole face) and 45 Miel (a touch for a light contouring), Avon Ideal Flawless cream concealer in Medium, Pupa Luminys silky baked face powder (to fix everything), Pupa Extreme Bronze compact bronzing powder in 001 (under the cheekbones and for quick contouring), Pupa Like a Doll Luminys Blush luminous effect baked blush in 204, Pupa Like A Doll Golden Infusion in 001 (highlighting).

For my eyes and lips I used: essence I love Stage primer, Pupa Luminys silky baked face powder (as a base colour swept with Sigma E 25 blending blush), Avon Ideal Flawless compact face powder in fair (under the brow bone to add light), Pupa Like a Doll Luminys Blush luminous effect baked blush in 204 (at the centre of my lids as an eyeshadow, applied with my fingers by gently tapping it), Avon True Colour eyeshadow quartet in Mocha Latte to fill my brows, Maybelline Master Ink in Satin, Maybelline Lash Sensational Intense Black mascara and Maybelline Baby Lips electro in Berry Bomb.
Featured tools are clean fingers (really), Sigma E 25 travel size blending blush, Zoeva 322 Brow Line, Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight and my pink eyelash curler (it was from Avon). Face make-up can be used on your eyes too and work as eyeshadows normally do, the Pupa apricot blush, applied at the centre of my lids, illuminated my eyes in a soft way. As a primer I used essence I love stage but it tends to crease all my products, I’m part of that small group of people who dislikes this notorious essence product.

For my lips, I used a violet shade, which is a 2015 and winter trendy colour, but I looked for a light stain and hydration rather than a full coverage colour.
On my nails, I’m wearing O.P.I Marquis d’Mauve, a rich metallic nail lacquer that switches from mauve to bronze with a mirror shine shimmer.
Voilà, party make-up is done!
