Avon Color Trend Kiss ‘N’ Go lipsticks promise a true colour, comfort and long-lasting effect.
They’re available in two finishes, a metallic and a slightly shiny, satin-alike one, and in a fair amount of shades.
In Europe, there are at least 10 colours and some seasonal limited editions like Denim Daze, Carnival and Valentine with a romantic heart printed stamp.

Flirt and Poppy Love have a fairly realistic colour, once applied onto the lips, and have a medium to high pigmentation and coverage.
Flirt is a nice light peach shade with a “caramel” touch, making it warm and natural, and it has a metallic, shimmery finish; while Poppy Love, or Poppy, is a poppy red with a blue undertone and that particular satin finish. With “satin” or “satin-y”, I mean a type of lipstick that isn’t totally glossy nor matte.

Comfort and durability of Avon Color Trend Kiss ‘N’ Go lipsticks depend on their finish, that is on the quantity of moisturising ingredients.
Indeed shimmery lipsticks like Flirt glide effortlessly and have a buttery consistency; while Poppy Love and similar lip colours apply less smoothly but last longer.
Both look luscious from the stick but, obviously, the more moisturising, the creamier they are, look and feel onto the skin. Poppy Love usually lasts more than three hours, leaving a pleasant tint on the lips afterword, Flirt can last up to 2 hours.

These lipsticks are contained inside 3.6 gram-tubes with an essential, almost zen, packaging that’s very practical at the end: a white plastic stick with a transparent panel that allows one to “peek” and quickly identify the colour to wear.
Simple, lightweight and handy, especially for those who have plundered lipsticks here and there and have too many.

Buying a couple of Avon Color Trend Kiss ‘N’ Go lipsticks aren’t a sin: regular price is generally low, around 6€ in EU, and 3.75£ in the UK with nice and convenient offers and sales all year around.
These little lip colours have so many positive qualities but it wasn’t their price, nor their performance pushing me to use and write about them with such joy.
There’s something more that no one tells you from the catalogue, in fact Avon Kiss ‘N’ Go lipsticks have an unforgettable scent: they smells of vanilla biscuits!

PROS:
they are inexpensive and convenient,
they have a good lasting power (Poppy Love and all the satin-y lipsticks),
they have a good pigmentation and buildable coverage,
they have a creamy texture (Flirt and all the shimmery lipsticks),
they have SPF 15,
they don’t dry one’s lips (Flirt and all the shimmery lipsticks),
they have a pleasant scent

CONS:
there are still few shades,
test sample aren’t always available (for example, in Italy they aren’t),
dry patches and skin peeling danger (Poppy Love and all the satin-y lipsticks)

The differences in these lipsticks’ formulation inevitably modify my “pros and cons list.
Generally, Avon Color Trend Kiss ‘N’ Go lipsticks don’t dehydrate lips, although they require an already exfoliated and hydrated base to set perfectly and to avoid dry areas as it might happen with Poppy Love.
I still recommend them both for their attractive price and their delicious and tempting scent.
You can buy Flirt or Poppy Love and the other Avon Color Trend Kiss ‘N’ Go lipsticks by contacting your local Avon representative or on line at your country site.

I have warned you about cherries…
