I had a family lunch: what to wear? It was hot: what to wear, then?
As often happens in these rare occasions, I didn’t know what exactly to pick from my closet and for this outfit of the day, what all cool bloggers call “ootd“, I finished up pairing grey and black clothes together. Boring, right? Not at all!
Gray and black isn’t really a classic favourite, it’s a sure option but it can result quite heavy, especially in summer, no matter the fabric one’s using.
Here I’m wearing a 2 in 1 OVS grey t-shirt that gives the idea of a top and a short-sleeved cardigan, plus a Terranova faux leather black skater skirt and my basic H&M black flats.
I’ve also pinched my T-shirt at the center in order to create some “movement” to underline my waistline. All in all, it’s a mix and match of styles and textures, that’s not bad but…
Then it came to a great idea: unexpected pops of colours…Inspired by the quick tie dye manicure done with the new Avon GEL SHINE nail polishes, I searched for that lost pair of blue tights in my drawers, then… a casual turquoise/aqua green silicon swatch. Voilà…
I’ve kept my face makeup super minimal, remember it was hot and not everyone in the family is happy with heavy makeup…
Concealer; an extremely light touch of multitasking mascara (Debby ALL in ONE mascara); light peach for the eyelids (Neve Cosmetics Peaches & Cream pressed eyeshadow); light-medium, cold pink hue on my lips (AVON Ultra Colour 3D plumping lipstick in Pucker Up) and a soft pinch of pink on my cheeks with Pupa Like a Doll cream blush (102 Flashy Doll Pink).
Lipstick: AVON
Swatch: Datch (Happy Color, Armonia)

Happiness is a bunch of colours and a pair of smurf tights.
