A custom-made brooch by Martina, Kamido Miss Molly. Saffo has become a One Of A Kind handmade accessory!

A day gets better and better when you get what you hoped for. Un petit cadeau by a friend who presents you “a new friend”. Thanks to Martina, known online as “Kamido (Miss Molly)”, today I’m finally in great company with “Sappho”, now “our Sappho”!

The blog girl/icon has been turned into a unique brooch, a One Of A Kind jewel since Martina isn’t just a brilliant “paper crafter”, but she’s also a very creative accessory and jewel designer.

When I saw on her Facebook page the transformation of brand logos into casual pieces of jewellery, I fantasized right away: I wanted to see Sappho, “pseudo-Sappho”,  come to life almost like Pinocchio.
I asked Martina if it was possible and she contented me. For the making of these particular accessories, Kamido-Martina draws and paints by hand on sheets of polyshrink that become pendants for bracelets and necklaces or brooches and rings.
Sappho was peculiar, as all women are, she was “tricky” but with a printable polyshrink sheet, Martina has made a spell. I’ve worn my brooch right away, I couldn’t let our new “pal” wait for more, thus I pinned her to the pocket of my light green United Colours of Benetton sleeveless parka, already decorated with bijou decorations. Among all the decorations she stands out for her beauty!

Thank you very much, Martina! With a cute boat stamp, her custom package with washi tape and special dedication, I had the impression of a real birthday present! Washi tape? Yes, she loves Japan and Japanese culture!
Even birth dates and important events can become pendants or parts of bracelets, are you curious to see them? You can discover all her handmade wonders on her Facebook page.
Arigatou!
