It’s a light floral perfume with a woody base. Despite being an eau de parfum, this fragrance evolves in a very light way and, according to my sense of the smell, its flowery accent isn’t too strong, despite being a floral scent.
Citrus, tea and apple notes make iris and violet softer. The result is a sparkling and crisp fragrance that wraps people gently. AVON LIFE by Kenzo Takada eau de parfum for her is perfect for daytime and young women (+25).
I like Avon LIFE female version, but I found her male counterpart much peculiar… if I were a man, I would wear it quickly.
AVON LIFE by Kenzo Takada for him is a woody eau de toilette with an aromatic and spicy side. It’s a lighter fragrance, but has a “stronger” character according to my tastes.
Its composition consists of:
top notes: black pepper, juniper berries and cypress
middle notes: violet leaves, geranium and anise
base noted: cedar, musk and iris rhizome
Although lighter, because it contains floral notes and less parfum essence, black pepper makes it appealing. Musk and cedar notes, usually very warm, aren’t overly overwhelming. AVON LIFE by Kenzo Takada eau de toilette for him has a well balanced note mix.
The fun and interesting part is the violet: this French flower remembers the adoption country of mister Kenzo and his love for France and Paris.
