Where to Find the Perfect Lipstick & Makeup Organiser Online

As simple as it is, the makeup organiser has been featured hundreds of times in the most glamorous beauty stations on Instagram. It’s a very useful storage solution to keep all our makeup well-organised.

I gave in, I bought the right makeup organiser and I was right… Finding the perfect lipstick display wasn’t that easy.

But, did I really need one? Is it a good investment and, most importantly, where to find one at the right price? I’ll show you where I found mine…

Do I need a make-up organiser?

How many times, you couldn’t find a silly lip balm and left the house without it?
If everything isn’t in the right place, we tend to lose pieces, as well as time to put everything in order after using our make-up. These lipstick displays come in handy and sound great for very busy and messy people or make-up junkies.
Features of the perfect lipstick display/makeup organiser
I searched in vain for a decently sized, sturdy and fair-priced organiser. No one in shops, beauty corners and Flying Tiger stores had these features, and I opted for a cheap DIY solution. I’ve been using some empty cotton bud boxes for quite some time. They are practical to store small eye palettes and eyeshadow pots, but they can’t hold lipsticks and lip glosses because they keep falling constantly when you try to grab one. Then, I found my lipstick display on eBay… as simple as that.

The Perfect Lipstick Display/Makeup Organiser: product & packaging

My lipstick organiser is a rectangular (19×11,7×8/7,4cm) and solid clear box with 40 compartments, where each lipstick slot measures about 2,50cm per side. The free shipping and its low price, less than €5, convinced me to give it a try.

DIY Storage Solutions vs Lipstick/Makeup Organiser

Where to buy makeup organisers

The answer is as simple as eBay, but you can find many on Amazon and many low-priced online shops as well.

What this makeup organiser can hold

Is it just for lipsticks? All those make-up items with a pen, stick or tube packaging can take their own place in this lipstick display. Your lip balms, lipsticks, lip glosses and pencils; however, lip colours with larger or squared sticks can’t fit in these small slots.
The good news is that this display can easily hold other products for face and eyes, and even some travel-friendly scents. The list continues with mascaras, pen highlighters and concealers, eyecare, spot treatments and eyeliners, exactly like these Maybelline Master Inks eyeliner peeping out behind my eye cream.

Having everything tidy and at my fingertips is extremely important to be ready on time, so my question for you is: do you prefer DIY solutions or makeup organisers?
This is all about your own inventiveness versus practicality.
