How to: Do It Yourself Christmas beauty crackers

Sort your gifts dilemma with some Christmas crackers, an eco-friendly solution which transforms the smallest present into a lovely discovery! How? Keep reading…

Christmas crackers are a British tradition and can’t be missing on any Christmas table as party favours and creative place cards.

They can be done at home and – with little surprise – their candy shape recalls their origin: created in 1847 by Londoner Tom Smith for his bonbons.

To create your own Christmas crackers you’ll need:

  • toilet rolls (empty, of course!)
  • cracker or crafting paper
  • scotch tape
  • ribbons
  • cracker snaps (which produce the typical sharp sound)

This packaging is the perfect solution for those gifts which would look too small otherwise, such as nail polishes and lip balms (even thou always appreciated)…

With or without the ‘kaboom‘, you can create safer Christmas crackers which look just adorable like candies. I usually craft mine with recycled toilet rolls or sturdy cardboard, bright wrapping papers, ribbons and colourful Sharpies…

Christmas crackers are a seasonal favourite chosen by several beauty brands.
