How I met Nahaia Active Organics was a fortunate case as I stumbled upon a contest on Instagram and won this cream.
‘Good for you!’ – you may say!
And indeed, it would be enough joy for any human. But this stroke of luck gave me a chance to know the brand and the founder, Nahaia. I will give the proper space to this project soon, but in short, here’s an introduction.

After seven years of testing and planning, Nahaia incapsulated the best from Nature in her eco and vegan-friendly cosmetic range imagined as a holistic treat for body and spirit. As the name clearly suggests, Nahaia Active Organics 24ct Pep Me Up Soother Lines Moisturiser contains 24-carat gold. This is a luxurious version of the white label Pep Me Up Smoother Lines Moisturiser Firm + Plump cream. It’s a day & night face treatment suitable for normal to dry skin, and it’s an anti-oxidant medium-weight moisturiser with firming, plumping and radiant effect.

Key ingredients are hyaluronic acid crystals – well-known for its ability to capture moist – Vitamin E and hibiscus seed oligopeptides. The latter provides anti-free radical action, and it’s an effective yet gentler alternative to botulin, as it relaxes muscle contraction. Other nutrients and active ingredients featured in 24ct Pep Me Up are: rosehip oil, argan seed peptides, rosemary and olive leaves extracts, colloidal gold and Pohutukawa from New Zealand, a myrtle-alike tree with fiery red blooms. 40% of these are organic. And… 24-carat gold leaf, of course!

Texture & scent
This touch of gold makes the experience so peculiar. 24ct Pep Me Up moisturiser is a cream with a workable texture; it’s custard-yellow in colour with tiny gold leaf and shiny golden particles. It feels quite fresh and light on my face even if its hydration level is relatively high. It means no stickiness nor oiliness sensation after the application.

Its scent is aromatic and herbal. It recalled a goji cream I used in the past, but I can tell Nahaia Pep Me Up fragrance is definitely nor grainy, berry or fresh-cut green alike, for sure.

How to use:
Take 2 or 3 pumps of Pep Me Up; warm and work the product between your fingers. Then apply it with upwards motion to face and neck. I like to pat it gently to ensure it gets fully absorbed.

24ct Pep Me Up face cream instantly soften the skin and makes the tissue feel velvety smoother. A skin test on the back of my hand shocked me for the instant tightening effect! An increase in hydration and radiance is clearly visible after the first use; after one week of constant applications – at day and night – I can fully experience an improvement in skin tone, texture, and its elasticity.
