Formula
Not on water but based on green tea, this facial wash combines more properties in one daily step. It provides cleansing, skin barrier strengthening, soothing and hydration retention thanks to its combination of key ingredients like papain (papaia enzymes), green tea water (52% Jeju Green Tea Water), ceramides and grain milk complex (oatmeal, soybean seeds and rice extracts).
Texture and scent
Velvety and smoothness are the two main features of this facial wash texture, creating a delicate sensorial experience. By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash is a white cream that turns into a microform, milky cream when worked with warm water. The scent is faint and not particularly remarkable, recognisable or upsetting but not neutral. This is a kind of improvement from the green tea hint found in By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash ($24) which can be equally a hit and a miss.
How to use By Wishtrend Milky Foaming Wash & tips:
One pump is way enough for each wash. Just apply it onto wet hands and work it until it creates its soft creamy foam, then massage it in circular motions onto the skin and rinse it out with lukewarm water. No rocket science, here again. By Wishtrend suggest applying it directly onto the wet face to amplify papain’s chemical exfoliating power, and alternate it with By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash as a cleansing duo ($44) when the skin feels rougher and more congested.

That “satisfying matcha latte gel texture” surely caught my attention and deep curiosity for novelties.
Its texture is, indeed, very pleasant and satisfying to massage. It would have been even more enjoyable, especially in the morning, with a natural scent but we can’t have everything we want, can we?
