Get ready for an unprecedented journey. The heat and adventure spirit of the Wild West are bottled in the Tulpa Club Season 2 fragrance collection.
Tulpa Club Season 2 collection: concept & inspiration
Tulpa Club, known for its cinematic and emotionally evocative fragrances, has introduced its second perfume collection, a genre-defying blend of scent, storytelling and immersive design.
Titled Season 2, the new series draws inspiration from the grit and grandeur of the Wild West, inviting fragrance lovers to step into a world of dust, danger, and destiny.
This latest collection features three original fragrances – Midnight Rider, Gunsmoke Saloon, and High Noon Heat – each capturing a distinct moment in a larger Western narrative. Season 2 is more than just a trio of evocative scents: each fragrance comes packaged with a chapter of EMBERS, an original three-part comic book written and illustrated exclusively for Tulpa Club. The collection is accompanied by curated playlists, offering an immersive journey through scent, sound and storytelling.
“At Tulpa Club, we believe perfumery is just another storytelling medium,” said Ajay Sameer, founder and in-house perfumer. “With Season 2, we wanted to take that idea to its furthest frontier – quite literally. Each scent is a moment in a larger tale of vengeance, survival, and redemption. EMBERS gave us a chance to visualise that story and build a whole world around it. It’s not just perfume – it’s narrative you can smell, read, and hear.”
Season 2 follows the success of Tulpa Club’s debut trio collection – The Long Way Home, The First Date, and The Last Call – which introduced the brand’s unique episodic format. Each “season” functions as a self-contained narrative arc, with every fragrance operating both independently and as part of a broader conceptual story. The combination of media (scent, visual, and audio) and the episode-centred concept are unique features and signature of the independent fragrance house.

Tulpa Club Season 2 Midnight Rider, Gunsmoke Saloon and High Noon Heat
Midnight Rider, Gunsmoke Saloon and High Noon Heat are cruelty-free unisex eau de perfumes. Each serves as an olfactory chapter in the story of a mysterious gunslinger seeking revenge across a scorched Western landscape.
- Midnight Rider captures the tense stillness of a night on the run, with notes of black leather, campfire smoke and desert air.
- Gunsmoke Saloon evokes the claustrophobic drama of a standoff in a dusty bar, blending tobacco, whiskey-soaked oak and spiced blood orange.
- High Noon Heat channels the blinding intensity of final reckonings, with sun-scorched sandalwood, cracked earth and a flash of gunmetal.
For those who grew up watching classic Westerns, Season 2 will surely recall horseback riding through arid scenarios, the thrill of bank train robberies, and the tension of the last duel under the scorching sun. Rich in character and unexpected notes, each Season 2 eau de parfum is unisex, boundlessly.

Midnight Rider Unisex EdP: review
Midnight Rider is the first chapter of the olfactory saga and aims to evoke a solitary ride through the desert in the dead of the night: a seemingly peaceful setting, where the tension of the unknown warms the rider’s body. This eau de parfum for him and her is expertly crafted for a lasting impression. It starts with top notes of worn leather and crushed flora, heart notes of chewing tobacco, and base notes of amber and spices.
Midnight Rider instantly hits with a cold breeze saturated with wild floral notes. A blend of leather and metal follows, making this scent fluctuate between the ozonic and a much complex profile. This eau de parfum takes a striking turn when an incense or sandalwood-like note and the warm, sticky touch of amber come into play. The result is a scent that combines both freshness and spiciness, the latter taking centre stage with a final sweet note. Midnight Rider could be worn both day and night, but I would consider it for nighttime.
I find it difficult to compare Midnight Rider with any perfume I’ve ever tried or worn, even once. It’s highly evocative and emotional. More than an existing perfume or any olfactory family, it recalls a place to me, but it might be a person or a particular moment in your life for you. The story behind the fragrance and the initial floral breeze suggest that the evoked place or moment is happening at night, when the air is crisp and filled with flora. It filled my eyes with tears and nostalgia.

The last string of the product description gives the final kick: “the stars offer no answer on how far is left to go – only a reminder of how far you’ve come.(this is the journey of the midnight rider.)“
Season 2 fragrance collection is available online at TulpaClub.com as individual fragrances with their accompanying graphic novel chapter, collectable card and fragrance playlist, starting from £30 for 15ml, and in discovery sample sets (£9).
