Lumiere Cosmetics, a mineral make-up review

The two foundations I’ve tried are Light Medium Beige Luminesse and Light Medium Neutral Cashmere. Both are light-medium tones but Light Medium Beige, as you can understand by its name, its’ s warmer than Neutral. I can match my skin tone by mixing Light Medium Beige with just a hint of Light Medium Neutral.
The words “Luminesse” and “Cashmere” indicate the type of foundation: Luminesse are foundations that give a glowing look to the skin, while a Cashmere foundation is matt and silky.
Their coverage can be easily built up and are good for all skin types. My skin is combination and these foundations stay pretty well on my face, they cover all my little redness and don’t give me a floury look!
My face looks fresh and radiant with a mix of them!
In my pictures you can see some light shimmers, especially in the Light Medium Neutral (Cashmere) swatch. This is a light effect, in fact, Light Medium Neutral (Cashmere) isn’t shimmery on my face.

I due fondotinta che ho provato sono Light Medium Beige Luminesse e Light Medium Neutral Cashmere. Sono entrambe tonalità chiare-medie, ma Light Medium Beige, come si può capire dal nome, è più caldo di Neutral. Sono riuscita a trovare il mio colore di pelle mischiando Light Medium Beige con un pizzico di Light Medium Neutral. Le parole “Luminesse” e “Cashmere”indicano il tipo di fondotinta: i Luminesse sono fondotinta che danno alla pelle un aspetto radioso, mentre i Cashmere sono matt e setosi. La loro comprenza può essere facilmente adattata al proprio caso e sono ottimi per ogni tipo di pelle.
La mia pelle è mista e questi fondotinta hanno svolto bene il proprio lavoro, hanno coperto tutti i miei rossori e non hanno creato l’odioso aspetto infarinato che tutte le ragazze temono.

Lumiere Cosmetics has a nice range of eye pigments, both matt and shimmery.
I’ve tried three shimmery eye pigments: Golden, Honey Brown and Sage.
Golden is a very rich and shimmery gold, almost auburn, and Honey Brown is the colour I’ve personally chosen because is very particular. It’s a dark brown with amber/honey reflects and gold shimmer. Depending on the light, this pigment transforms itself and with the sun light it turns on!
Sage is the lighter shade, it’s a light green with silvery shimmer and can be used as a sparkly highlighter. It needs a fixing product or water to be more intense.
These colors are very pretty and have a good pigmentation, I highly recommend to use them in small quantities because a bit is enough!

La Lumiere Cosmetics ha una gamma di ombretti molto belli, sia opachi che brillanti. Ho provato tre ombretti luccicanti: Golden, Honey Brown e Sage.
Golden è un ombretto dorato molto ricco e brillante, quasi ramato e Honey Brown è il colore che ho personalmente scelto perchè è molto particolare. E’ un marrone scuro con riflessi ambrati/color miele intenso e particelle dorate. Questo pigmento, a seconda della luce, si trasforma e con la luce del sole si accende di bagliori!
Sage è il pigmento più chiaro, è un pallido verde salvia con riflessi argentati, può essere usato come illuminate scintillante. Ha bisogno di un fissante o dell’ acqua per essere più coprente e intenso.
Queste tonalità sono molto belle e hanno una buona pigmentazione, raccomando vivamente di usarne una quantità limitata, poco è abbastanza!

I often see mineral blushes used as lip color so I asked Kim, the founder, if these blushes were lip safe and the answer was yes!
For these swatches I used my current lip balm (Real Soap and Good Rags Margarita Lips) and then I applied a bit of blush with a brush. In the pictures below you can see the effect with and without a clear lip gloss.
I think Wild Rose is perfect for daytime and casual looks, it’s my favourite one.
Mimosa lasted very long on my lips, I went to a pizzeria and, back home, I had still some pigment on!!!

Spesso vedo i blush minerali adoperati come rossetto, così ho chiesto a Kim, la fondatrice della Lumiere Cosmetics, se questi blush fossero lip safe e la risposta è stata si!
Per questi swatch ho usato il mio attuale balsamo labbra (Real Soap and Good ags Margarita Lips) e poi ho applicato un pò di blush con un pennello.
Nelle foto potete vedere l’effetto dei blush con e senza lip gloss trasparente.
Penso che Wild Rose sia perfetto di giorno e con un look casual, è il mio preferito. Mimosa dura molto a lungo sulle mie labbra, infatti, una sera sono andata in pizzeria e, tornata a casa, avevo ancora del pigmento sulle labbra!

I’m stupefied by the quality of these products, these pigments are very cute and in the shop there is a good variety of available items!Lumiere Cosmetics ships worldwide and you can choose your shipping method, which is a good thing. In my opinion, another good thing of this shop is the Skin Bar where you can find a selection of products for skin and hair care and even custom perfume rollers! I think I will visit this shop very often!

Sono rimasta stupefatta dalla qualità dei prodotti, i pigmenti sono molto belli e c’è una buona varietà di prodotti!
Lumiere Cosmetics spedisce ovunque ed è possibile scegliere il metodo di spedizione più adatto.

Un altro punto interessante del negozio, secondo me, è lo Skin Bar, una sezione del sito con prodotti per la cura della pelle, dei capelli e persino dei roller di profumo personalizzabili. C’è l’imbarazzo della scelta, penso proprio che visiterò molto spesso questo sito!
