What’s the latest trend about nails? The answer is fresh, just surf online and take a look at those celebrities flaunting their ‘claws’ in candid white!

The talented Lea Michele and the sexy bomb Kim Kardashian recently sported the white nail look on short nails. Results: a simple manicure way beyond the limit of natural.

White immediately stands out on nails and doesn’t forgive even the smallest mistake. It’s the colour itself and the consistency of white nail polishes to create many issues: sometimes your white nail lacquer is too runny and not opaque enough. I had to give it a go, otherwise what kind of beauty blogger would I be? I’ve chosen to recycle to be a ‘savvy’ blogger too: I used the white nail polish from the Avon Nail Expert french manicure kit.
To reach an optimal coverage, smooth any imperfection and make my nails extra glossy, I needed three coats of nail polish, two coats of Avon Smudge Fixer and some acetone for clean-ups (with a brush, of course).
I’m not really satisfied but I’m happy because I could make use of this ‘white as the snow’ base for other nail creations…
