Debby – Color Play Sand 02 Orange Shell nail polish (with review and swatches)

There are nail polishes reminding of long sunny days and summer, others shout “fun, fun, fun!”… Debby Color Play Sand 02 Orange Shell does it.
Orange Shell is a textured nail lacquer from the Italian brand Debby, Deborah’s sister beauty line, with that peculiar, yet fun gritty finish.

It dries matt but its tone is extremely vibrant, so that it will never look dull! What to say? Orange Shell is a charged carrot orange and it dries very quickly.
Two coats are enough in order to get an opaque result and the desired full sandy finish, a third coat would just slow down the drying process and it’s totally unnecessary.
Debby “Sand” range has a total of 5 summery nail polishes contained in tiny 7,5 ml-bottles with solid cap and small applicator, though the brush does its job well. As all 3D nail polishes without chunky glitters, Orange Shell has a liquid consistency (so it happens that it runs toward one’s cuticles) and, as all matt nail lacquers, it tends to wear out after a couple of days (2 to 3 days), though its 3D tactile sensation will last longer (5 to 6 days).

Fun, fun, fun? Here’s some music! They’re The Beach Boys, of course…

Debby Color Play Sand 02 Orange Shell costs 5.90€ and it’s the perfect nail polish for girls who aren’t afraid to stand out from the crowd.
I love this finish a lot and I recommend this line too as I haven’t found big flaws.
