Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast is a clear lip balm in a tiny, tiny stick.
Scent
Its scent combines raspberry and lemon notes. It’s a fruity mix but it would be a rather restrictive description. It reminds me of gelées, those colourful jelly candies: sweet and full of juicy flavour! This lip balm has that typical jelly fruity and sugary taste but with the frizzy, slightly acidic taste of lemon. It’s refreshing and pleasant: the lemon scent is predominant.
Formula and texture
This Blistex lip balm is enriched with anti-oxidant and hydrating ingredients, vitamins C and E, as well as SPF15 to protect your lips from UV rays. I noticed how it easily glides onto my lips, lasts for hours and seems to work well.
Its texture isn’t sticky or greasy, it doesn’t feel super light but not heavy. To be honest, I’ve used better hydrating lip balms but reapplying Raspberry Lemonade lip salve is a joy!
I think this fruity Blistex is a more than decent daily product because it protects from sun rays, is comfortable to apply and is pocket-friendly. This lip balm has been approved by “the beauty-archaeologist” because it’s moisturising and has a very addicting scent, plus it looks natural because it won’t tinge on your lips.
