Burgundy and gold roaring 20’s stamped manicure with Born Pretty stamping polish in gold

A nice idea for short nails: a bold but sophisticated stamped manicure in burgundy and golden 20’s art deco design.
Wine becomes a simple background while playing with this golden stamping nail polish by Born Pretty Store; the result is stunning and grabs all the attentions.

For this manicure I used one coat of protective nail treatment, a wine/bordeaux nail lacquer, which is Avon Color Trend in Icon, Born Pretty stamping polish in gold, a stamping kit and a plate (it’s the BP21, also from Born Pretty Store), a telephone card as a flexible scraper and a clear top coat.

After prepping my nails, I applied two coats of my burgundy nail lacquer and, once completely dried, I transferred this art decò striped design, created with the gold stamping nail polish on the plate, from the plate onto my nails by rolling my rubber stamper with the gold design over them.
It may sound hard but once tried it a couple times, you’ll master this technique.

I finished off by removing excess from around the nails as usual and sealing everything with the topper.
This gold stamping nail polish by Born Pretty Store looks like liquid gold, indeed it has a great pigmentation and it shines powerfully. It’s hard to find a decent stamping nail polish and it becomes even harder when it comes to metallic ones, but this one has done a great job.
Over this deep burgundy some stamped lines looks slightly sheer but the overall design came great and rich. Used on the top of a darker or black nail polish, I assure you this nail polish does wonders.

It dries quickly, it’s easy to use with any stamping plate as well as easy to remove from all the used supports. The consistency is medium, not liquid nor too dense, thus I’ve stamped effortlessly with it. It comes in a 6ml bottle with a tiny brush, but the size of the applicator is fine for the purpose and the product quantity is enough for loads of fun nail art A top coat  is a must as it makes the gold design pop more!
Thus, I will say “don’t let yourself be fooled by the bottle dimension!”.
Where to find it? This gold stamping polish is available on line at Born Pretty Store for 4,99$.
In my opinion, the price is right and it’s definitely worth a try.
Don’t forget, in case you want to save more, you can used the coupon V10K31 to get a 10% discount on your order at BPS… convenient.

The Great Gatsby? I think this pattern combined with the gold Born Pretty stamping polish give the sense of opulence that’s typical of the roaring 20’s, do you think the same?
