Taking in the country’s contrasts and beauty, Brazil-inspired fashion is a vitamin-packed chromatic palette that’s easy to wear, especially in summer.

Where to Start Your Brazilian-inspired Wardrobe

The fashion world isn’t just exploiting this inspiration; it’s launching a wave that, by painting everything in a thousand vibrating colours, is sure to boost your mood.

If you want to bring the healthy vitamin B(razil) into your wardrobe, you can play with neon shades in many ways. You can build outfits with large skirts, ruffled tank tops, and blouses in colour blocks inspired by traditional Carioca architecture. Mix prints and designs borrowed from Escalera Selaròn’s cheerful majolica steps in Rio de Janeiro, to get an idea.

Even your feet get wrapped in natural beauty. Whether you need some flip-flops for a relaxed stroll by the sea or platform shoes to stand out on a night out, cheerful toucans, wild flowers and sunset prints are the matching themes.

To finish this off, a turban or a wide headband is the icing on the cake of this Brazilian style.

Brazilian Vibes & Swimwear

Even your feet get wrapped in natural beauty. Whether you need some flip-flops for a relaxed stroll by the sea or platform shoes to stand out on a night out, cheerful toucans, wild flowers and sunset prints are the matching themes.

On off-white, black or pastel backgrounds, the Brazilian flora always looks on point on swimwear and clothing: the rule of thumb is to avoid total green looks. Keep it simple and within the recommended doses: reserve floral prints for the swimsuit or the main piece of your look, optionally the shorts or the top.

If floral patterns aren’t your thing, you can replace them with much more sober geometries in shades of green, as these “neat vines” in this customisable H&M bikini (left side).

Spotlight on Accessories

Clutches, backpacks and tote bags receive the same treatment. Perfect for a city ride or a day at the beach, they’re casual enough but intentional in style.

Accessories with tropical reminiscences are equally sumptuous and dazzling. Feathers and rhinestones decorating sculpted samba dancers during Carnival can be transformed into eye-catching statement necklaces, wide bijoux pectorals made to grab all the spotlight with multilayer chains, acrylic decorations and rhinestones. For a simpler fashion statement, casual friendship bracelets with cotton threads, pearls, beads, and tassels are an option. Here as well, the basic concept is: the more, the better. So let’s go for arm candy, overloaded wrists.
