Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Precision Face kit: product and packaging
Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Precision Face kit is your dermatologist in a box. This starter face kit offers you all the tools for an easy and safe homemade dermaplaning session. The package includes a dermaplane a complete device with an extra refill head, two samples of Veet Miraculous Oil, and a pouch to store your new beauty gadget. A battery! There’s also a battery, so you can dermaplane straight away!
But, first of all, what’s dermaplaning?
The mysterious word ‘dermaplaning’ is bouncing around the net. It sounds new, my mobile corrector doesn’t even know it’s a real word! It’s nothing too complicated in the end: dermaplaning is a popular aesthetic treatment which is very basic in action. It means exfoliating and removing peach fuzz in one go; surprisingly, this salon treatment doesn’t involve any chemicals or tricky tools. In fact, it’s the mechanical removal of facial hair with the delicate usage of a surgical scalpel performed by trained staff, and the cost per session varies starting from £40.
How Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Precision Face kit works
Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Precision Face kit does exactly was the aesthetician does but with a safer tool. Using Veet Dermaplaning system isn’t like shaving your face with your razor and some shaving cream… you’re not a bearded circus lady! Veet dermaplaning gadget is a vibrating razor. It can be used on chin, cheeks, forehead and around the lip area: everywhere there’s extra fuzziness (of course, excluding the delicate areas such as the nose, around the eyes and closer to the lips).
Details
The star of the Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Precision Face kit is its dermaplaning gadget. This tool consists of the main body and a detachable bladed head. This skincare device is 16 cm long and is made of a sturdy plastic shell covered by a fuchsia silicone layer to offer a safe grip. At the very top, there’s the attachment for the refill head; the opposite side reveals the battery allocation. Unscrew it to put your battery. The blade head has a fuchsia plastic cap, and everything matches this funky colour! The activation button is at the centre of the tool in the soft-touch area.
How to use
Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Precision Face kit is easy to use, the device does the job, while you just move it across your face gently with care. It doesn’t take too long, around 5 minutes of your time when you get used to it. Follow these steps for safe dermaplaning with Veet.
- To start by attaching the new head: crack the lid and glide the cap to remove it.
- Press the round button to switch on the device. (Once it’s on it will buzz and vibrate.)
- Incline the head at 45 degrees to your face.
- Gently pull your skin as you would do when you wax.
- Start demaplaning from the contours of your face and move inward with delicate and brief strokes by following the hair growth pattern.
Done! You’ll clearly see what the Veet Dermaplaning tool removes from your face in a couple of minutes. It’s quite gross and shocking… but the results satisfying.
Post dermaplaning
Once your dermaplaning session is over, apply a couple of drops of Veet Miraculous Oil as your finishing touch. The oil is included in the starter kit with a double sample. This oil soothes and hydrates your skin, and it’s designed to make your face feel smoother. Veet face oil is packed with natural oils and Omega3 and can be used before or after the treatment. As a post-treatment, it helps to calm the skin and enhance your skin radiance. As a pre-treatment, it will help your razor to glide onto the skin…
How many time should you dermaplane? Good question! The after-feeling is so nice but, let your hair grow again, and let your skin regenerate first! The starter pack has two refill heads because one should dermaplane once every two weeks.

EXTRA TIPS
Dermaplaning with Veet is super fast, but I recommend to take your time. Find a spot immersed in sunlight, get a mirror in front of you, and sit. Start your session and follow how your hair grows. I haven’t last time, I rushed and – as a result – my skin misbehaved with tiny bumps and a breakout. Once, I tried to disinfect and reuse a blade, but I think it looses sharpness after the first usage. Follow the instruction and discard the used head. Use the oil to make the razor glide comfortably, if your skin is sensitive or it feels too dry.
There are good reasons if dermaplaning is a hot salon treatment! It gets rid of two aesthetic problems (hair and dead skin cells), and it improves the appearance and health of your skin. In fact, free from the layer of dead cells, the skin looks radiant and absorbs your treatments better. Veet beauty device is also pain-free! The only thing you can hear is the buzzing noise of the tool and a stroking sensation on your skin while moving it.
The main factor which could stop you from trying dermaplaning is the popular myth that hair grows thicker, darker and faster. As a Mediterranean girl, face and body hair kill my confidence, and I believed in such tales. The Veet website debunks all these urban legends about unruly growing hair, but I wanted to play safe, and I skipped my lip area when I used Veet. (Scaramantically Italian).
The price could put you off, too. Veet Dermaplaning Sensitive Face kit costs £29.99, and a refill pack with two replacement heads is £7.99. After a first investment – which is the starter kit – one would pay £7.99 per month instead of the +£40 at a salon… this makes me think. I wished I could reuse the bladed head, though!
Shocked. Dermaplaning with Veet made my skin look clearer, radiant, smoother and cleaner. It’s credible how much this tool removes with little effort! My first application was a true success, and the result lasted for 10 days. More peaches, less fuzz, less fuss.
