I’M FROM Beet Refresh Pad: product & packaging
Its massive pink tab contains 60 round pads generously drenched in liquid treatment for 260 ml. The package comes perfectly sealed, with an extra removable lid to prevent moisture loss and a handy pair of tweezers for touch-free and more hygienic usage. You’ll notice that the package itself is bigger than the content inside.
Formula
The key ingredient is beetroot extract harvested in the county of Damyang and cold-processed to preserve its properties with a technique the brand calls “Cold Decoction Method”. These pads are soaked like a sponge in this essence composed of 20% beetroot extracts (antioxidant) and sodium hyaluronate (humectant) with many natural ingredients such as apple and carrot extracts (antioxidant), neem leaves (antioxidant and anti-inflammatory), ivy gourd fruit extract (hydrating and balancing), corallina officinalis algae extract (antioxidant and hydrating)…
Texture and scent
The essence, unscented, doesn’t feel sticky and doesn’t leave residues, but what grabbed my attention is the pads heft itself. These are large around 7 cm and quite thick. I’M FROM Beet Refresh Pads have a sandwich structure with an absorbent core that retains the treating liquid. but they get so drenched in the essence that stay and adhere nicely and smoothly to my skin.
How to use I’M FROM Beet Refresh Pads
On clean and towel-dry skin, apply the pads on your cheek or those areas that look dull and dry. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then gently swipe the pads on the rest of your face and put the essence.
PROS:
- they’re comfortable to use,
- for all skin types (no redness or itchiness felt),
- without artificial colourants and fragrances,
- cruelty-free and vegan-friendly,
- they keep the skin hydrated,
- even skin tone,
- the packaging includes tweezers,
- the essence is light,
- the outer packaging is eco-friendly (soya ink and FSC-certified).
CON:
- the tab seems like a waste of packaging.
I’M FROM Beet Refresh Pad ($24) seem like a quick solution to dull and stressed skin, so I use them mainly on my cheeks. The package is so big that made me think of a sharing bag of sweets but… well, I’ll keep them for myself also because it’s a big tab to carry around on my trips.

Like the beetroot clay mask from the same range, I found them very pleasant to use, like a nice pampering treatment or mid-week mood boosters because the results are immediately visible. I let the pictures speak for themselves but I simply add that “refresh pads” is quite limiting as a name because these facial pads don’t just refresh the tissues but “wake up” my face to a flushed and more even tone with visible hydration.
I saw a video by Pony where she uses some facial pads and patches her whole face with them or pieces of them but, for this, I would honestly opt for a sheet face mask with similar action and save extra pads for future applications. Smart choice.
I could squeeze my memory but I couldn’t find any big cons in I’M FROM revitalising facial pads, apart from the package which could hold other units and more essence.
So have some beetroot pads with you have also a nice fuchsia salad too!
