Masks, pads, what else? I’M FROM Beet range also includes one of the most powerful treatments in the highly praised Korean 10-step skincare routine: the ampoule. I’M FROM Beet Energy Ampoule is a concentrated product that nourishes, hydrates and revitalises all skin types. Nice and pink, it comes in a 30ml perspex bottle with a dropper dispenser.

Formula
The formulation of I’M FROM Beet Energy Ampoule is all about local red beetroots harvested in Damyang, in the South-west area of South Korea. These roots’ extract makes up 81.5% of the entire formula and has been extracted with a cold method to preserve beets’ nutrients like betaine and minerals and properties. Full-of-beatine beetroot extract is paired with plant-derived squalane microcapsules that are absorbed faster to boost hydration.

Texture and scent
The pink bottle hides a crystal-clear fluid with medium thickness, zero stickiness and a touch of viscosity. This ampoule has no scent and no matter how thick it could look in these pictures or real life, it applies easily and refreshingly until it disappears soaked into the skin.

How to use I’M FROM Beet Energy Ampoule:

Spread a couple of drops onto clean skin and neck, after your essence and before your face cream with delicate circular motions. It’s powerful enough that one application a day could be enough and it fits well after the purifying mask from the same line.

PROS:

  • it’s suitable for all skin types,
  • vegan and cruelty-free,
  • it has a no-irritating formula,
  • contains no silicones, essential oils, artificial fragrances or colourants,
  • it boosts hydration,
  • give a healthy pink flush,
  • increases radiance.

CONS:

  • it doesn’t even your skin tone (redness and dark spots),
  • it doesn’t inhibit blemishes.

Ampoules are known as the most powerful of the three treatments – essence, ampoule and serum – that would follow your toner in a typical 10-step Korean skincare ritual. So potent that sometimes one application a day is enough to see fast results!

How does I'M FROM Beet Energy Ampoule work?

With I’M FROM Beet Energy Ampoule you know that you’ll find, first and foremost, a great boost of hydration, what else? The key ingredient, beetroot extract, can do much for your skin. Its mix of minerals and actives would only do you a favour for what concerns skin appearance (first ageing signs, loss of hydration, blemishes). What I’ve found helpful to understand this ampoule and not feel disappointed is a key within the product name: “energy”.

I’M FROM Beet Energy Ampoule ($22) is mainly a hydrating booster. In short, if your skin is well hydrated it looks fresh, youthful and, most of all, healthy. This ampoule supports your skincare routine and gives you that little more that you might need if your lifestyle is slightly below the balanced goal.

No, I haven’t been that healthy recently: I’m not sleeping enough, not drinking enough water and I’m quite stressed out. However, my skin does look more than decent and not as dull as it would be in this situation.

With this ampoule, I can say that the I’M FROM Beet range fixes some issues of my combo skin: dehydration and oiliness with the purifying mask. The ampoule naturally emphasises the freshness given by the refreshed pads too!

In two months of usage once a day, my skin got a lovely pink hue and looks fresh and plumped. Energy means revitalised and hydrated skin but what about blemishes or uneven skin tone that might occur in stressful spells? Not that much, redness and blemishes can still you pay a visit and dark spots won’t look that lighter. To brighten your complexion, I would recommend I’M FROM Rice Serum and Toner would do the job. In most troubled situations, By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water will get rid of extra roughness for an even texture (available online on Wishtrend).
