Formula
This cream has been formulated to be kind enough for sensitive skin and lightweight for oily and combo skin. The formula is delicate and free from essential oils, artificial colourants and fragrances. This treatment aims to hydrate, soothe and protect your skin with added anti-inflammatory action. To do so it uses the benefits of fermented ingredients with probiotics which are the core of the formula, the Pro-Biome Complex: Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Bifida Ferment Lysate, and filtered fermented honey. By Wishtrend Pro-Biome Balance Cream also contains propolis extract – loved for its anti-inflammatory properties – and plenty of other natural extracts like mallow, garlic, asparagus and potatoes. Add also soy and pea, this cream sounds like a feast.
Texture and scent
With my pleasure, rich in nutrients doesn’t translate into a thick and greasy cream on this occasion. By Wishtrend Pro-Biome Balance Cream is lightweight also in its texture and after-feel. It’s a fluid cream, fresh like a gel but without the typical stickiness and slow absorption of that kind of face product. Wishtrend informs that its sweet scent is 100% natural. With this note in mind, I imagined a honey-like fragrance but when I swirled open the lid what I sniffed was quite light. The scent seems to have a subtle flowery touch underneath, sometimes, but it isn’t long-lasting or strong.
PROS:

- it has a delicate formula;
- it gets absorbed quickly;
- leaves the skin hydrated for longer;
- feels fresh;
- gives a healthy look and glow (with constant use, + brightening)
- it isn’t sticky;
- it doesn’t clog your pores.
CONS:
- it has no SPF;
- the fragrance isn’t for everyone (subjective).
After the miss with By Wishtrend Acid-Duo Hibiscus 63 Cream, I took my time to test this cream. Indeed, it was the last product to get published of the three I received (for a recap, see here and here).
What I found here with By Wishtrend Pro-Biome Balance Cream is an excellent hydrating cream that gives the amount of nourishment to each area of my combination skin: my T zone wasn’t oilier than usual and my driest areas haven’t shown a single dry patch so far which I consider a success.
At first, I couldn’t understand how much product to pick because the texture is very fluid but dotting your face is enough. just in case of necessity, it’s better to touch up rather than apply too much. It dries very quickly, otherwise, it would feel runny, cold and unpleasant.
No redness found: another success! No clogged pores or hormonal acne coming back: another hooray for me, although it isn’t just thanks to this cream. It isn’t specifically a perfecting or brightening cream but could see my skin smoother, more even and brighter with more than a month of constant applications day at night. These results make me really satisfied. I will use it until the last drop and add my anti-ageing supports, of course…

As mentioned in the list of pros and cons, its fragrance isn’t for everyone. It isn’t the traditional sweetness one would expect (see I’M FROM Honey) but, on the other hand, it doesn’t last long in the air or on your skin. This cream is cruelty-free but it isn’t vegan. This is the only big concern for vegans or those into Veganuary.
That balance in the name is a perfect fit for this face cream, so if you’re looking for a hydrating cream suitable for tricky combo skins, this is surely a good option! +30 skin may need a different treatment and additional care for its ageing sign, an SPF is a must no matter the age.
