Perfect 10 Wild Thing Pre-glued false nails kit – review

My last trip to Italy was a ‘wild thing’, a crazy race against time before COVID-19 could freeze me in the country. That journey started on a train with these Perfect 10 ‘Wild Thing’ Pre-glued false nails

Do you remember mytravel habit/tradition? This time, I was heading South on a Trenitalia Freccia. I popped these nails on (and a wig too) with the surprise of the fellow passengers.

Perfect 10 Wild Thing Pre-glued false nails: product and packaging

Perfect 10 Wild Thing Pre-glued false nails are, indeed, an excellent travel companion.

This nail set is a pocket kit with 24 nails in 12 different shapes with a prep wipe. That’s all you need for this quick fix which it’s meant to be a 2-minute work.

The nails: details
These false nails are incredibly light and flexible. The shape is between that of a short stiletto and an almond, which means not too long, still wearable but with sharp edges particularly on the thumbs. This set of pre-glued nails has a good curvature which feels natural and fits very well your natural nails. To make the size selection easy, the inside tip of each piece has a size number which results clearly print and readable. On the inside – from roughly the centre to base of each nail – there is a glue patch.

Finish and shade
Perfect 10 Wild Thing is a cool design featuring a 50-50 ratio of a leopard print on nude, translucent nails and glossy black nails which are instead fully opaque creating an interesting contrast.

How to use
Perfect 10 Pre-glued false nails are mess-free. The sticky pads adhere quite well to your nails after cleaning them with the wipe. The application is hassle-free and needs around 10 seconds per nail.

Perfect 10 Wild Thing Pre-glued false nails design - review

This Spring/Summer season saw many translucent and jelly falsies for playful mani. I was quite reluctant, but the animalier pattern sounded as good as the combination I could create with this kit. I used this Perfect 10 set by alternating the designs each nail and hand. Fun, indeed, and cost me so little, just £4.50 at Boots!

With a set of pre-glued nails, you should be aware of this inconvenience: you’ll say ‘goodbye’ to some pieces too early. No matter how tight you press your nails and how careful you are, glue patches aren’t as strong as your regular nail glue. This is the main issue, especially after washing your hands frequently.

I re-glued them… this is after 5 days

Besides that, I enjoyed this design, and I bet my chubby friend enjoyed my company and some belly rubs with my new claws.
